Hello all! I’m (@cerevant@lemmy.world) currently working on the port of the NFL bot. I’ve done a quick conversion, but it is a bit tricky to fully test before a game goes live, so we’ll give it a go for today’s preseason game between the Texans and the Patriots.

First, it ain’t ready. Second, we haven’t merged the Lemmy fixes into the main repository linked in the sidebar. I’ll get a link or a snapshot available once things are a bit more stable.
Commenting to poke federation
I wouldn’t recommend trying out the bot just yet - I’m still squashing issues as I find them. There isn’t really a mechanism in place to test the bot without live game data from the API, so I’m just running it in a debugger and fixing things as they error out.
