I like this poll. It’s a good mix of eye test results mixed with a healthy dose of “ain’t played nobody”. Feels like a good gauge of where we are at this point in the season.

I’ll definitely be tuning in for that Penn State v Ohio State game this weekend. Good old fashioned B1G slugfest that could really shake some things up next week. That, and Bama v Tennessee (Vols pls).

I’ve been very pleased with our community rankings. They’re definitely different enough from AP/coaches that I do feel we have good football insight here and they’re worth paying attention to. Also don’t you vols pls me lol.

    Again, some of my takes:

    • Michigan and Oklahoma got the same number of points and number one votes, only thing keeping Michigan in 1st is our tie-breaker
    • Unranked Mizzou beat unranked kentucky and jumped up 42 points in the poll to be ranked 23rd
    • Georgia, Penn State and Texas all slide despite not losing. Georgia and Penn State despite winning by multiple scores
    • For the second week running, a whopping 5 previously unranked teams made it into the c/cfb top 25
    • Notre Dame was this week’s biggest winner and Louisville the biggest loser, even though last week Louisville was the biggest winner and Notre Dame was the biggest loser
    • Again we’ve hit a high water mark for voters, one more and we’ll be in the double digits!

Brb, deleting all my comments where I said I like ties

Notre Dame was this week’s biggest winner and Louisville the biggest loser, even though last week Louisville was the biggest winner and Notre Dame was the biggest loser
