Ah, after reading the article about what happened: for those who can’t make out what’s happening, middle camo dipshit is pointing a pepper ball gun at the priest, and apparently just fired it. That dot to the top left of the pastor’s head may be the pepper ball.

For those who don’t know, you are not supposed to use these pepper guns at such close range (I mean, ideally you wouldn’t be using them at all on protestors, but jesus the fucking overton window is fucked right now). They can cause quite a bit of damage that isn’t the ‘intended’ purpose of deterrent when used at close range.

I don’t know which article you read, but I can tell you straight up that you’re mistaken about what this photo is showing. Middle camo is holding a big thing of pepper spray or similar irritant, which IS designed to be deployed at this range.

This, of course, doesn’t change the fact that dipshit shouldn’t be in Chicago, let alone pepper spraying (presumably non-violent) priests, but we don’t need to invent misdeeds, there’s plenty real examples to choose from.

What needs to happen, is the crowd that outnumbers these fascists needs to pepper spray, subdue andhandccuff the “federal agents” and place them in a jail, since the local police are obviously inept and cowering in their brand new amored personel carriers hugging their brand new M-16’s in fear.
If the police find themselves coming to the aid of these nazi “federal agents” then they should find themselves in the same jail cell next to them.

Of course, so there’s seemingly only 2 ways to handle that.

        1. Give it to them.
        2. Take the protest straight to the heads of the hydra.

Either way violence has been done - how does the populous address that injustice? It seems the pretext of waiting until someone defends themselves is a strawman at this juncture.

A common bully-logic: Trying to argue that they’re still somehow protected by “law” while breaking the very social contract that gave it authority at one time.

They have removed their own authority by doing this violence to the communities they enter. They are nothing but state enemies in state official clothing.
From the foot soldier on up to the pedophilic “admiral”.
All uncommon thugs in need of jail time for their crimes.

Just know that as soon as someone in ICE gets so much as a stubbed toe, almost half the country will feel vindicated in calling leftists “terrorists”, and things will get worse. A lot worse. Charlie Kirk was almost that catalyst. They tried so hard to pin that on a leftist, but it didn’t work.

Sorry bud, but this country doesn’t negotiate with terrorists. They can feel whatever they’d like, but not fighting back is what’s going to make this worse in the long term.

They’re going to stage that as well to attempt the same thing anyway. How many vulnerable suffer until they wage a full moronic-ideological war, just like the Nyatzies did? Then how many more suffer because it was over a longer time frame?

The people who’s duty it was to stop this shit, are f*cking helping them along. 🤦🤷

Let them stage it! Why are you so intent on helping them? Portland is handling this right by having dance parties. Chicago is handling this right by escorting ICE through the city.

I think you underestimate the number of people (not just including the vulnerable) who will suffer when this becomes a shooting war.

What are the actual results from this? Hint: almost nothing, immigrants are getting kidnapped just the same. The only way this is helpful is by bringing like-minded people together, but this alone doesn’t do anything, people need to organize and do something. First steps are physically block the gestapo from entering buildings, destroying their property, make them ashamed and afraid, etc. This is happening in some cases already, I’ve heard of tires being slashed when the idiots leave their trucks unattended during a raid. Y’all need to organize and learn from these people, do more petty sabotage like this. It bands people together and buys you time to organize for something bigger.

Currently the US empire is involved in a literal genocide and is keeping billions of people poor and hungry on purpose, and is exacerbating the impending climate catastrophe. Some vulnerable individuals in the empire itself suffering is bad, don’t get me wrong. But you are significantly underestimating the harm being done right now, by focusing on what’s happening just in your country without seeing the broader context.

You’re right, I underestimate - hopefully. But I notice it’s already/only October, and there’s supposed to be 3 more years of this fascist terrorist regime bullshit?! The reelections cannot come soon enough.

Do you think there’s a point at which an escalation would be warranted? If so, what makes you think this point isn’t now (or, more likely, half a year ago (or, more likely, when your fascist country was founded in the first place))?
