As for the Michigan-Alabama game earlier today, beating an Ohio State is obviously peak comedy (and my dad, a Michigan alum, says it was his favorite of the four-game streak), but it’s almost funnier the second time that they beat a ranked team as 3-score underdogs without their best players

If Michigan played half as good at the beginning of the season as they have the end of it, they would probably be in the playoffs.
Both teams deserve to be out of the playoffs. They both had talent (more on Bama) but they were annoyingly inconsistent (esp. Mich).
I still would have chose Alabama ahead of Indiana, or SMU. They still may have lost, but it would have been a good game.
I don’t disagree. Bama or Ole Miss would’ve been better. Both of them needed to get the wins against easier opponents and it cost them.
