If enough people close to him tell him he’s great he can pretend it’s real.

When he dies the infighting will be funny, but the justice will be satisfying.

There’s no justice in his death. Only an end to the madness. Justice would be him sharing a cell with his cronies, enablers, and bosses.

Justice will be received by his cronies after the collapse. See: Nuremberg. Note: hitlers absence

Yeah but that didn’t happen till we got through the truly heinous shit… I’m kinda hoping we still won’t go that far.

Feels like you haven’t seen the pictures out of El Salvador. The heinous shit has begun, and we should stop it before anyone else dies.

            It’s already too far.

If it doesn’t go the distance we’re stuck here.

That only happened because half the world united to put and end to the Nazi madness and completely destroyed any bargaining power they had.

I don’t see that happening here. Best case scenario they are so thoroughly humiliated and discredited that they quietly creep off into the sunset. But I’m not sure I see that happening either, honestly.

        • Just want to point out that many “smaller” crimes (unlawful executions and such), took 10+ years to be investigated properly and there was also a blanket amnesty.

No. Justice would not be him in a cell getting 3 square meals a day. Justice would be him broke and alone, trying to survive out on the streets without any of the social services that he and his ilk are ripping away from people right now. Justice would be him getting by on what he can fish out of the dumpsters behind his favorite fast food joints.

I think you’re conflating justice with karma, and in that sense you aren’t wrong. Cosmic justice would be as you described, but that’s not the pillar upon which civilization is founded. Justice is a function of society where humans try to impose a sense of fairness and order. Justice is a consistent and dispassionate. We tend to confuse justice with vengeance, and it’s one of several critical causes of our current societal collapse.

That would be comeuppance… justice would be him just jailed… I on the other hand care little for justice I am tired of “they go low we go high” mentality… they go low I say you knee them in the face! Fucking cut all his funds and take a fucking thumb for good measure.
