Back when rage comics were all the rage, it was just one of those things me and my friends never really cared about. We went on a concert and someone brought a friend we didn’t know. We walked to the venue and smoked some weed and talked. The guy was wearing a jeans jacket with the tollface on the back. We tried to ignore it, because otherwise he seemed nice. At some point he said some classic reddit rage comic stuff and he all just looked at him. He doubled down and did the jetpack noise and pretended to fly away, just like in his favourite rage comic. I never experienced as much raw cringe in my life and i still often think about that interaction.
I explain this to some friends and it is just not the same. I show them the picture and get a, “heh”
This is something that is so funny to me but I can’t share it with anyone as nobody else shares the laugh

Trollface back patch? Now that’s a battle jacket that goes hard
Oh wow. Point made.
It’s something you have to fry your brain to appreciate
Man I hate when that happens …
that’s my life.
you never get used to it.
