I had to do a double take when someone said Vance is Catholic. He’s a perfect evangelical, they love him, my evangelical culty parents love him so much it’s gross, he does not seem Catholic.

I saw this go by and didn’t really think about it. We both learned something from this. I think you’re trying to help the community, the community is telling you that it’s not. I’m not going to ban you, but this is a warning. Good intentions aren’t always good results.
Misgendering someone as an insult may hurt them a little, but it hurts the non-cis community a lot.
For what it’s worth, and maybe I’m naive, but I read that comment not about not meeting some criteria of what appears on a driver’s license… But instead rebuking the notion that JD has acted with the integrity required to achieve “manhood”.
English has really massacred the ability to clearly articulate concepts around biology, identifying as a boy or girl, and then having lived in such a way to have “ascended” to “manhood/womanhood”.
JD Vance is a boy if he says he’s a boy. Being a man isn’t so simple. I reject that he is a man.
