It’s wild that MLB was investigating this last season and didn’t say anything when Pittsburgh traded him to Cleveland. How much did the Pirates know before the trade?

    Is this more than “kicked-our-of-the-league” stuff? Are these dudes facing criminal stuff too?

      If they were fixing games that could lead to criminal charges. Uncle Sam also frowns on using unlicensed bookies. Just using fan fuel or the like and betting on MLB isn’t illegal AFAIK, just against MLB rules.

    I wonder if MLB informed Cleveland they were investigating or were even allowed to given the CBA. I would guess they weren’t but that’s still a pretty wild situation.
