I hate modern trek colour grading.
Tbh, many recent films the colour grading sucks. Unless it’s relevant to the landscape e.g. a yellow colour-cast on Arrakis is to be expected.
I forgot that it was playing about halfway through, it’s quite bland.
e: the show is less bland, don’t let my snarky comment or this intro stop you from trying the show
Way to say absolutely nothing about what the show is about, while featuring none of the cast.
I can’t say I’d look forward to watching that every week to get me into the mood for the show.
Nothing? The whole thing is couched in a metaphor of new growth to represent the reopening of the academy and the importance of building a new generation. It says at least as much about the show as watching the Enterprise D zooming past a few random planets ever did.
