Trump, three months into his term, has moved swiftly to use the powers of the presidency in unprecedented ways to punish, weaken and silence his enemies, experts say.

In a blistering ruling, a federal judge blocked a new executive order from Donald Trump punishing a prominent law firm that successfully sued Fox News for promoting false claims of election fraud.

U.S. District Judge Loren L. AliKhan, speaking from the bench in her Washington, D.C., courtroom Tuesday, said Trump’s order targeting the law firm Susman Godfrey was part of a “personal vendetta.”

“The framers of our Constitution would see this as a shocking abuse of power,” AliKhan said.

This is nice and all, but court rulings against the Trump regime are moot. Everything Trump doesn’t like gets emergency-docketed to the Supreme Court, which he owns, and in the rare instance where the Supremes rule against Trump, he ignores it.

He always wanted to be king, an absolute ruler, and was pretty clear about it, admiring dictators, saying your won’t have to vote anymore. But the speed how this is happening and how he gets away with it is a bit shocking.
