Not sure if it’s just me, but “wokeness” always meant being “awake” to me, or more enlightened.

As opposed to asleep, or being a “sheep” as people were referring to it a few years back.

So seeing some say “wokeness” is over seems to imply to me that thinking for ones self, or being informed is no longer required.

I’m sorry, so for the past 4 years we only had “ugly” women in ads?

Does this idiot understand how marketing even works?

Yeah, we had more plus sized models, because for one, they are a target market for advertisement because, and I know this sounds crazy, plus sized women also need clothes and gasp humans like to see “people like them” in ads and people like “pretty people like them” even better.

None of this is new and this is just more Maga brain rot

Man, i do wonder how general intelligence.in the US compares to Canada or Mexico, or Europe. It can’t be good.

I agree, but maybe we underestimate the youth, and we are still the melders of their understanding… Thus it may be best to embrace the abnormalities and discuss what we feel pertinent. If the heart of socialism is at understanding the value of people and treating them properly… Tearing them down for making jokes in a time of terror gets us no where. So I figure, support; joke. And be there. If one asks, answer. Don’t preach. Enlighten don’t breach. The world’s fucked… But if my last day is to make anothers day better, that may be all I can do

Decades of the wealth class pushing for privatization of essential services such as education by slashing budgets of public services.

Those individuals also just so happen to have stake in those private entities.

The result is a populace who isn’t educated enough to know that they’re trapped in an endless grift.

And the stupider someone is, the more emotionally reactive they are. So we’ve got the people pushing the culture war shit who know that they’re full of shit, and the hapless idiots that pass along the message thanks to being tricked into being scared of their fellow man for inane reasons.

Meanwhile, the ad companies do not care.

The right wants to claim these companies are on their side. The companies aren’t on their side, they’re not on anybody’s side. If they think they can generate more sales with a fat, black model in a bikini, they’ll do it. If it’s a thin trans model, they’ll do that. If it’s a slim blonde with big tits and a swastika tattoo, they’ll do that instead. Whatever moves product.

Which is hilarious because dude basically homophobe’d himself into “Trans women are women and trans men are men,” which is usually the exact opposite thing that homophobes do. Usually they get hung up on the gender they were assigned at birth and are terrified that they would be considered gay based on that.

This is why many of them hate trans and or gays, they are attracted then realize it. Maybe still are attracted after knowing.

Clearly their influencers are using them as a scapegoat of sorts. Otherizing them in bad faith anyway idk what you could call that not scagegoating perhaps.

it’s like a bait and switch where homophobia is tantamount to one’s internal sense of masculine heterosexuality, and the “trickster” to them in this instance has, in their always-active woman-objectifying-minds, discretely, but almost certainly malevolently, “switched genders” with the express purpose of trying to convince the particular male in question to consider the one thing that makes them more furious than any injustice they have ever experienced or witnessed: human’s capacity for the desire for anal insertion. it’s like the sphincter is a sacred sanctuary to them, and they have not yet become comfortable in their own body or mind, so the intense jealousy, coupled with fear of crossing the framework of taboo that they have been imbued with and accepted for themselves, is what is likely leading to the unpredictable but always neurotically aggressive reactions to such a “reveal” for this type of child-man, who has become over-sexualized-by-media-or-family, yet undereducated in core values, and with likely maladaptive internal principles/ideals to fill their place in order to protect their flimsy senses of self-worth that they continue to measure by simple means rather than sustainable, comprehensible, inclusive, or commendable metrics of “worth”

Knowing absolutely nothing about the model… My first thought was that she was trans. Because the dipshits run into that all the time.

They make no effort to actually understand anything and just live off vibes and beliefs with no factual basis whatsoever. Not doing a basic Google search to look up the model and verify before posting like an idiot is par for the course.

    Prada, 2023:

    Prada, 2022:

    Prada, 2018:

I might have switched up 23 and 22.

    But uh… what?

Like, I’ll give you that Prada seems to consistently go for models that kinda look like aliens, with pretty big eyes and generally chiseled or striking features, they try to emphasize triangular faces and chins, strong cheekbones…

But… are these not generally attractive women?

… I was going to ask what this person is smoking, but I’m guessing its meth.
