Nordic letterScandinavian Ø. It also tries to clearly differentiate other similar glyphs like lowercase “L” and a capital “i”, “8” and the capital “b”, etc…It’s proportional sans-serif version Atkinson Hyperlegible Next unfortunately uses proportional numbers instead of tabular ones like most good sans-serifs.

There’s a hidden war over many common typos of popular domains. Almost every misspelling of YouTube redirects to the main site. Try yootube or yputube or yoitube.com. But less common misspellings or as soon as a domain registration expires, you bet some bot will snap that up and host malware, then demand a royal’s random from Google to win it back
The yoitube one is clickable on web. It appears to link nowhere to an adblock user, unless they press F12 and see that it’s a bunch of links to random domains all titled either “top sex” or “barzolar” (whatever the latter means), probably some ancient search engine manipulation: marking normal sites people paid against as NSFW; advertising actual NSFW sites people paid for.
yootube seems to be parked or something (could be fake), yptube redirects through a bunch of stuff then eventually declares me unwanted (probably because referrer turned off) and redirects me to rozetka.com.ua (they probably looked up top 10 sites per region and since I used my IP in Ukraine it directed to a Ukrainian store)

They’re almost certainly just reposting everything from reddit. Might even be a bot.
I don’t mind that content getting copied here to be honest. If it’s a bot I’d like to know, but as long as bots make themselves known and don’t upvote anything I’m fine with it.

well just looking at their profile on the home instance maybe 1/3 or more of the communities are unknown to my instance.
I think it’s insane that people want a bot reposting other people’s complaints from a mostly-OC community. It’s just ragebait at this point, no justifying it with “I needed to vent”
So thanks to this bot, we know that some people we’ll never interact with are infuriated by something. Cool. Great community idea.
This place was doing fine before the spambot showed up. More content doesn’t mean better content. Why must every site be a bucket to dump the same content from the last site into?
I don’t mind ≠ I want something. If it is about creating a great community you have two very wonderful tools: moderation and collective action. If multiple people in this community have negative feelings about this, either collectively act (downvote this kind of content, block this kind of posters etc) or set up rules that a moderator can use. Don’t do nothing yet expect everything to remain the same, that is madness.
Hence why I’ve left a lot of comments letting people know they’re responding to a bot.
A human runs the account but they claim they’re not a bot, they just have…automated posts set up. You know. Like a bot.
